21st June 2015 Jsm Arhat touch celebrated World Yoga Day

JSM Arhat Touch children celebrated Yoga Day along with Yoga fans around world who had taken to their mats for first International Yoga Day on 21st June 2015

Atmarpit Kinjalben was visiting Manchester for loving yourself workshop so guided the children through various yoga techniques and gave the children an insight into the qualities required for yoga. Each part of each child's body was stretched in a way never stretched before. Each one felt rejuvenated and recharged for the class. 29 children particpated in the event. The children were aware of World yoga day and were excited to be part of the program. Some children had attended the yoga day program which was conducted by Art of Living.



                              19 th October 2014, A trip to London
Twenty five children of JSM Arhat Touch visited London‘s Oshwal centre derasar and Mahavir foundation derasar in Kenton.   They were accompanied by didis /bhaiyas and parents. The trip was very elevating and enjoyable. The children followed the Mission derasar lesson taught in class and did their puja with bhaav. The got the labh to do arti and mangal divo at both the derasar.  Some parents who joined the children felt that they had also learnt the meaning of puja for the first time and felt the connection to our Lord. The children sang stutis, did chaityavandan and Kshampana.  The children practiced maun en route and enjoyed watching DVD of “Showers of Grace”.
Mr Kiritbhai Shah and Manubhai Shah of Oshwal centre welcomed and honoured the JSM Arhat Touch.  They expressed the joy of seeing so many young children do puja. Mr Vinodbhai Kapasi, President of Mahavir Foundation welcomed the children at Kenton derasar and explained the history of the derasar. It has a Pratimaji of Lord Parshwananth ji which is over 1000 years old. There is also presence of Param Krupaludev, Shri  Sobhagbhai and Shri Laghuraj Swami.
The JSM Arhat Touch children also offered prayers for the week of world peace  at the Al-Khoei Foundation. They mentioned the importance of non-violence and forgiveness towards peace and mentioned that Jains observe a day of universal forgiveness each year. The children spoke on the three tenets of Jainism Ahimsa, Aparigraha, Anekantwad, and its significance towards peace. They recited the Navkar mantra. Maggie Brizzi and Jennifer Jackson, organising committee thanked JSM Arhat Touch   for their invaluable presence and offering. The children held the lantern for world peace and it was a moment of joy and peace!
